Description

Violet Milstead-Warren was a Canadian aviation pioneer. As an Air Transport Auxiliary Pilot she flew many of the aircraft of World War 2 including Spitfires, Hurricanes and Mosquitoes. Considered Canada’s first female Bush Pilot, she defied boundaries and blazed a trail for women aviators and serves as an inspiration to women of every age.
