Returning to DocFest for 2023, Tess Girard, the 2018 Best Local Feature Documentary Award Winner, Tess Girard’s feature documentary Shelter is an exploration of the spaces that we create for imagined future doomsday scenarios and the nature of entropy in these spaces as the people and ideas behind them change and grow older too.

Tess returns to her home region and as she reckons with her own relationship to shelter, and her place in the world she inhabits.
