Sara’s Prelude

Initially created by Sara Holton as a school assignment, Sara’s Prelude highlights the passion, dedication and hard work of aspiring pre-professional dancers. Starting in the local studios of the Quinte Ballet School, this film culminates with Sara learning Odile’s solo from Swan Lake at the International Ballet Masterclass in Prague. In many ways, this is also Sara‘s “Swan Song”, as she died in a bicycle accident only a few months later.
