The musical legend Carlos Santana began as a street musician at the age of 14 and opened for the best San Francisco bands in the late sixties, before his break-out performance at Woodstock when he was just 22 years old.
Santana went on to win 10 Grammy Awards, be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and tour the world with his unique fusion of rock and roll and Latin American jazz. At age 76, he continues to be one of the world’s premiere musical artists.
In this intimate portrait directed by two-time Emmy-winning director Rudy Valdez, the guitar legend recounts in his own words the events and influences that shaped his remarkable career.
