Description

At the age of 80, Canada’s literary/feminist icon Margaret Atwood, has never been more relevant. The TV adaptation of her novel ‘The Handmaid’s Tale‘ was renewed for a fourth season. The follow-up novel, ‘The Testaments‘, won her a second Booker Prize. It will also be developed for TV. Thirty-five interviews contributed to this documentary, but ultimately the subject has the last word. (IDFA 2019 selection)

“Has much to offer Atwood fans and neophytes alike.” – Chris Knight, National Post
