The Last Waltz is hailed as one of the greatest documentary concert films. After seventeen years, roots rockers The Band, called it quits with a lavish farewell show in San Francisco on Nov. 25, 1976. The final performance was famously documented by Martin Scorsese and features standout performances by rock legends such as Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters and Neil Young.
