A tragic fire in a Bucharest nightclub in 2015 leaves 27 dead and 180 injured but soon afterwards victims with non-life threatening injuries begin to die in local hospitals. With the help of a whistleblowing doctor, a team of investigative journalists uncovers a deadly scam that took the lives of many innocent people.
The film is a fast-paced detective story following a team of Romanian reporters as they uncover layer upon layer of fraud and criminal malfeasance that leads them to highest levels of Romanian business and government.
