Dear Future Children
This award-winning, globe-spanning feature follows three women on the frontlines of social activism in Chile, Hong Kong and Uganda – risking their lives and unwavering in their commitment.
Filmmaker, Böhm and his team spent more than two years on the project starting from a crowdfunding campaign and following the fight against startling oppression, against the Beijing-influenced administration under Carrie Lam, the protests in Chile against social inequality, and in Uganda at the local Fridays for Future protests and actions for climate justice.
“…the strength of the film, it not only brings its concerns to the table, but also into the hearts of the viewers.” Peter Osteried, Programmkino.de
