Local filmmakers Brock Kerby and Brian Long share the story of Floyd Russell “Bud” Loveless, a father, grandfather, athlete, avid outdoorsman and most of all, an unsung hero. Using a mix of historical photos and film, interviews, and dramatic reenactments we learn more about this local pilot who was assigned one of the most dangerous duties in the air force during WWII.

This is a story of courageous missions, near misses, heart-felt tragedy, and one encounter nearly costing Bud Loveless his life.
